    The Long Range Planning Committee will review the current and projected fiscal situation of the county along with transportation issues and future infrastructure requirements at the Arapahoe County Justice Center. The justice center, located at Broncos Parkway and South Potomac Street, includes the Arapahoe County jail and courthouse. The committee is comprised of 25 residents, businesses and nonprofit representatives.

  3. Harvest Trail Project Update TONIGHT - Open to Public

    EVENT REMINDER: Get an update on the new Harvest Trail connecting users via a safe and off-street route to the Fairgrounds and Aurora Reservoir. Arapahoe County Open Spaces is holding a meeting Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from 7 – 8 p.m. at the Toll Gate Crossing Clubhouse: 24625 E. Bellewood Dr., Aurora CO 80014. Commissioner Jeff Baker and staff from Open Spaces as well as Public Works and Development will share project information and answer community questions. The new trail runs between Gun Club Road and Harvest Road at Toll Gate Creek and Murphy Creek then connects to existing trails through the Fairgrounds and Aurora Reservoir. It is scheduled to open October 2019.

  7. Bike to Work Day

    For the fourth year, Arapahoe County will be participating in Colorado’s Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 26, celebrating riders at two locations. Registration for Bike to Work Day 2019 is free and encourages those who are looking to stay healthy while exploring Colorado’s trails and open spaces, de-stress and refresh in a fun and engaging way. New and seasoned bike commuters can visit either of Arapahoe County’s water and breakfast stations from 6:30 – 9 a.m. Wednesday: Arapahoe Rd. Trailhead: 14460-15136 E. Arapahoe Rd., Centennial, CO 80112 High Line Canal Station: South Quebec Way Trailhead, 1900 S. Quebec Way, Denver 80231 Both locations will feature Little Anita’s breakfast burritos, coffee, water and give-aways including a keepsake map of Arapahoe County Bikeways and a Mirrycle Incredibell Original Bicycle Bell promoting rider safety.
