Elections Facility Tours Request

  1. Arapahoe County Elections Facility Tours

Learn all about Arapahoe County elections process and see for yourself how secure and accurate our elections are! We will host four public tours this fall, to explain ballot security, reporting election results, and other details about Colorado’s mail ballot voting system. We’ll also answer your questions.

Please review the rules below before clicking the link to register for a tour.

    Tour Rules and Requirements

    • Tours last approximately 45 minutes but may be shorter/longer based on Q&A or other factors.
    • Visitors will be required to sign in and wear a “Visitor” badge at all times.
    • The Elections facility is essentially a large warehouse without refreshments or easy access to restrooms. Please plan accordingly.
    • Masks are currently not required in County facilities, though that may change at any time.
    • We take the health and safety of our full-time staff and election judges seriously. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
    • Please do not bring bags, purses, fanny packs, backpacks or other personal belongings with you. We will provide a cage with a lock for such items, but the best solution is to leave them at home.
    • No taking of photos, or audio or video recording is permitted.
    • Tours will be limited to the first 20 people to register. If demand for a tour is high, we may give preference to Arapahoe County residents over non-residents.
    • All attendees must register separately for a spot on a tour (you may not bring a guest or other party that has not registered individually).
    • If you cannot make it to the tour for any reason, please email to let us know.
    • Candidates for office in the 2022 General Election may not attend these public tours. Your party chair will share information for you regarding two “candidates only” tours we have planned.

Elections officials and workers have been targets of threats over the last two years. We are doing our best to balance transparency with the security and safety of our election judges, visitors and staff. Registering for a tour affirms that you understand and agree to follow the rules set forth above. Attendees who cannot abide by these rules may be asked to leave.
