Arapahoe County announces round 2 of pandemic business assistance grants

Arapahoe County is launching the latest iteration of its Advance Arapahoe initiative to ease the current economic burden resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. This $5 million grant program is targeted to businesses within Arapahoe County that have a gross annual revenue of $1 million or less.

“Even though we’ve come a long way toward reopening our economy since the initial shutdown this past spring, many businesses still are struggling to make ends meet,” said Stephanie Mufic, program supervisor for A/DWorks!. “This funding will help qualified businesses continue to pay their bills and make improvements in numerous categories.”

The grants will be awarded according to the following criteria:

Business Gross Revenue Loss Due to the Pandemic

  1. Grant can be used to support the operational needs of the business such as lease/mortgage payments, utility expenses, payroll expense, supplies and services, materials. (If grant funding was received by the business within the past 6 months that amount may be deducted from the award.)
