On the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested 43-year-old Shawn Glover for criminal mischief, domestic violence related, stemming from the original incident that preceded a pursuit and officer involved shooting that occurred on that date. Investigators suspect Glover flattened a tire on his wife’s vehicle after finding it in the parking lot of an area hotel. 

Glover then located his wife and another man, later identified as 18-year-old Allen Fanning, at Big O Tires, 6711 S. Potomac St. Glover reported that Fanning retrieved a handgun from the vehicle and pointed it at him before getting into the vehicle and fleeing when deputies arrived.
