Residential Permit Application Submittal Requirements
- Read and comply with the Permit guide
- Attach to the application:
- A detailed narrative
- Construction plans
- Structural plans
- Additional requirements and documentation
- A Site Plan, if the proposed remodel includes an addition, new exterior access, egress stairway or window well
- Include with this permit submittal all associated new Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical scopes of work
- Foundation plans and a geotechnical (soils) report, if applicable
- Roof truss calculations and layouts, if applicable
- A complete isometric diagram and an “Adding or Replacing Gas Appliance questionnaire”, if new gas appliances are installed or replaced
- ACCA Manual J, S & D, if applicable
- An asbestos report, reviewed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), if required
- Attachments must comply with these requirements
- Complete your application using Customer Access
- Select the Residential Remodel > Residential Remodel or search by ‘remodel’
- Pay for your permit online
- Estimate your fees
- Review the Fee Schedule
- A plans reviewer will check your application, plans, and attachments for completeness and accuracy before your permit is issued
- You may be contacted with questions or requests for revisions through the Customer Access Portal
