Versailles Parkway Study

Arapahoe County is finalizing a report with recommendations that will address speeding and other safety concerns on South Versailles Parkway, Powers Avenue and Tempe Street through the Saddle Rock Ridge subdivision. This effort is in response to concerns the County has heard from the community. These three "collector" roads provide connectivity to more than 1,200 acres of single-family homes, multifamily homes, retail shopping, public schools and open spaces. The recommendations will define future enhancements that calm traffic, reduce speeds and increase safety, while maintaining current traffic capacities. More information will be available in the coming months.

The Process

The County has conducted a technical analysis of the study area and collected feedback from local residents. That information has been used to draft a traffic study. The project team is now working on finalizing a report that will recommend design options for improvements and identify and leverage funding for the project.

In Case You Missed It

Did you miss the Jan. 27, 2021, virtual neighborhood meeting? No worries. Watch a recording.

The project team also hosted a public comment period with an interactive map. Results from that process will be posted soon. Stay tuned for more opportunities to engage in this process as we continue through the year. If you have any questions about the project, please call 720-874-6500.
