Arapahoe County is studying S. Versailles Parkway, Powers Avenue and Tempe Street through the Saddle Rock Ridge subdivision. This effort is in response to concerns the County has heard from the community related to speeding and other issues through the corridor. These three "collector" roads provide connectivity to more than 1,200 acres of single-family homes, multifamily homes, retail shopping, public schools and open spaces. The goal of this study is to define future enhancements that calm traffic, reduce speeds and increase safety, while maintaining current traffic capacities.
The County is conducting a technical analysis of the study area and collecting feedback from local residents. Once that in formation is compiled, the second phase will include developing design options for improvements and identifying and leveraging funding.

The project team also hosted a public comment period with an interactive map. Results from that process will be posted soon. Next steps include further technical analysis and then design concepts for improvements. Stay tuned for more opportunities to engage in this process as we continue through the year.
