National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out (NNO) enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring law enforcement and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

NNO in Colorado takes place on the first Tuesday in August. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office does not host an event for NNO. Instead, we participate in events hosted by communities across our county. Each year, we attend six to eight different community events, bringing K-9 demos, vehicles, SWAT and Bomb trucks, and agency members who are at the ready to answer your questions!

Keep an eye on our calendar. We will post our participation and location list as we get closer to August.
