Accessory Setback Changes in A-1 and RR-A Zone Districts (LDC20-001)
Current regulations require accessory buildings to be behind the front building line of the principal structure in the A-1 (Agricultural-1) and RR-A (Rural Residential-A) zone districts. The proposed change would be a 100-foot required front setback for accessory buildings regardless of where the principal structure is located.
This update to the Land Development Code will provide property owners more flexibility for building structures that support agricultural and residential needs, while addressing the need for setbacks.
