Youth in Conflict Services
Services Available
Our Adolescent Services team provides services to families and teens, when the teen faces serious conflicts and behavioral concerns that presents serious safety concerns for the youth, family or community, such as:
  • Conflicted family relationships
  • Drug or alcohol involvement
  • Lack of respect for authority
  • Runaways
  • Serious legal involvement
  • Serious problems in school

If safety concerns exist, we can work to alleviate conflicts, protect the youth and the community, re-establish family stability and functioning and sometimes assist youth to emancipate successfully. These services may be ordered by a juvenile court, or may be voluntary at a family’s request.

A family must take advantage of all available community resources and exhaust their private insurance options prior to the County's ongoing involvement.

Arapahoe County residents may report concerns for youth in conflict to 303-636-1750. View a list of hotline numbers in other counties.
