Recording Fees

The following fees are charged by Arapahoe County for submitting documents for recording and for copies of records. Pursuant to CRS-30-10-421, there is a $1 surcharge on each document received for recording.

Please note that the return mailing address needs to be on the front of the document on the upper left hand corner for recording.

Service Fee
Record Standard Documents $10 for the first page, $5 per page thereafter + $1 surcharge per document 
A page is one side; up to and including 8-1/2" x 14"  

Record Oversized Documents $10 per page plus $1 surcharge per document 
An oversized page is on side of sheet larger than 8-1/2"x 14"

Documentary Fees  On all documents granting or conveying title to real property (CRS. 39-13-102): $0.01 per $100 consideration if consideration is greater than $500
 
Survey Plats $10 per page + $10 processing fee per document 

We accept only 24"x36" plats on Mylar.

DD214 No fees for recording. Two certified copies are provided free of charge

UCC Filings (Real Estate Fixture Filings Only) 1-2 pages: $10 flat fee + $1 surcharge per document
3 or more pages: $15 flat fee plus $1 surcharge per document

Copies  $0.25 per page 
Certified is an additional $1 per document 

Marriage License Copies $0.25 per license/$0.25 per application 
Certified is an additional $1 per document
