Recording Fees
Recording Fees The following fees are charged by Arapahoe County for recording documents and for copies of records. Your return mailing address needs to be on the front of the document on the upper left-hand corner for recording.

Payment accepted in cash, check or money order payable to Arapahoe County Clerk. (Returned checks will be subject to a service charge and processing fee.)

Please note:
Recording fees will increase by an additional $2 surcharge per filing beginning Jan. 1, 2017.
This does not include survey plats or marriage licenses.

Letter or Legal-Size Document (up to 8.5 x 14)

Plats, Maps and Documents Larger than 8.5 x 14

We accept only 24 x 36" plats on Mylar.
Documentary Fees
On all documents granting or conveying title to real property $0.05 per $500 consideration
Federal Tax Liens

UCC Filings (Real Estate Fixture Filings Only)
1-2 Pages $11 Flat Fee
3 or more pages $16 Flat Fee
All e-recorded UCC Statements $6

Marriage or Civil Union License
Application and Recording of Certificate $30
Non-Certified Copy $0.25 per page
