Arapahoe County CSU Extension hosting free home energy workshop

LITTLETON, CO --- As temperatures drop and thermostats rise, you may be interested in efficient energy improvements to help keep your home warm and comfortable, while saving money and energy. Learn important information about energy efficient options for your home at a free workshop.


Join Arapahoe County CSU Extension, Xcel Energy, the Brendle Group, the City of Englewood and the City of Littleton Dec. 6 for this interactive workshop focused on strategies to save money and energy for residential homes.


When: 6 – 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6

Where: Englewood Civic Center, Community Room, 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, 80110


Attendees will learn energy efficiency tips and tools, how to take advantage of free energy advising and financial resources for projects and how to save money on energy efficiency measures through an Xcel Energy Home Energy Squad® visit. Attendees also receive a free LED bulb.


There also will be an Xcel Energy Home Energy Squad demonstration. A technician will walk you through a typical visit and answer questions about your home. Workshop participants will be entered into a raffle for a free Home Energy Squad visit.
